fruit chaat recipe | how to make spiced fruit chaat masala recipe with step by step photo and video recipe. chaat recipes are very common across india and can be made with myriad ingredients. generally, it is made with deep fried puris, samosa or kachori’s served with toppings like sev and chutneys. but this is a unique sweet and savoury chaat recipe made with a choice of finely chopped fruits.
i have shared many chaat recipes till now, which are spicy, savoury and lip-smacking chatpata in taste. but this is a unique chaat recipe which can be served as a dessert or as a snack recipe. it is generally served as street food as a snack or dessert after the spicy and savoury chaat recipe. but it can also be served as dessert after a heavy meal. in this recipe, i have limited with spice powders, but you can extend it by adding chocolate sauce or honey. i personally does not like extra sweetness in this recipe and hence i have not added. but you are more than welcome to add it if you like to experiment.
furthermore, some important tips and suggestion for an ideal and perfect fruit chaat recipe. firstly, as mentioned previously you can use any choice of fruit combination for this recipe. but make sure to use a combination of sweet, sour and juicy fruits. secondly, the recipe has to be served immediately once it is prepared. otherwise, once the spices are added it would release its moisture and perhaps turn soggy and mushy. lastly, if you are serving it for your kids, then make it colourful by adding fruits like orange, strawberry, blueberry and black grapes.
