Tests are currently being conducted on new and existing homes in the Pacific Northwest to study the effects of weatherization on indoor air quality. One hundred and sixteen existing homes were tested and screened for formaldehyde (HCHO), nitrogen dioxide (N02), water vapor (H20), and radon (Rn) using mailed passive samplers.
