This business had been open over 100years and the current ownership has been inplace since 1963. They are busy and that isfor areason. The best cuts, the best convo intown.

I went here toget myhead shaved and mybeard trimmed bya gentleman ina bikers jacket and anewsboycap.Wow..... this guy knicked myhead atleast 9times. And itwasn't small either. Myhead would not stop excessively bleeding. Ialso asked him toclean upmy beard and fade myside burns into myshaved head. This gentleman literally faded mybeard down tomy jaw line. Itwas honestly pathetic how bad this guywas. Iwas completely embarrassed and had togo home and shave mybeard offtoo. It wasn't like hemade one mistake. Hemade atleast 13and literally cut myhead open. Not tomention the price was $25. Ipaid $25toget scalped. Itipped the guy about $40and Ihope hetook myadvice and realized this wasn't forhim. Avoid this barber shop atall costs. They clearly don't vet their barbers tosee ifthey can actually cut hair.… – show

Best barbershop ever! Open super early. Saturday from 6AM to5PM. AJis amazing! The other barbers rocktoo! Only place that takes their time togive you the best haircut you’ve everhad. Only place that actually trims your eyebrows and ear hair. Plus the hot shave onyour neck isawesome! They have acool system for checking inand notifying you bytext when you’re next inline soyou can run errands while you wait. Well worth the wait! Great price, excellent, professional service. I moved tothe area about 16months ago and was inneed for abarber shop. Iwent toMikes my2nd week living inthe area and Ihaven’t gone anywhere else since.
I enjoy the atmosphere, the conviene hours and most importantly the haircuts. Ibelieve Ihave gotten atapper fade byevery barber inthere and each one ofthem doan excellentjob.
I can see why this family business has been running solong. Each barber ispersonable and very cordial. Ipersonally love talking toMike the owner beca
use ofhis positivity and optimism onlife which isa breath offreshair.All the barbers take great pride intheir work and are family men which Ibelieve isa reflection oftheir owner Mike and his grandchildren that run the shop.
They have given megreat recommendations about places toeat and things todo with mywife. And being new toarea isvery helpful.
*There isa skinny James with tattoos that works there and gives great haircuts! Check himout!

Overall this use tobe agreat experience, Mybro told meabout this new guy James who cut his hair aweek ortwo ago and how atrocious itwas, and the experience sowhen Icame inon Saturday Isaw 2James?? Ithought the one with the biker jacket would’ve been good but Ithink he’s the one mybro told meabout Would not recommend. Didn’t even listen tome, brought mycut upwaaaay tohigh and lined meup tothe point Ihave little hairs growing back inthe front. I’m debating weather ornotto just shave myhead because this looking terribly. And should Imention the razor burn heleft mewith felt like sunburn onmy head and neck.

I have been aloyal customer ofmikes for years and been enjoying the new talent they’ve been bringingin, but the newest addition Ibelieve his name isJames left mewith welts all over myneck from his clippers and when asked topress lighter hestared medown and continued topress even harder and nostraight razor neck shave?? Nofoam?? Everyone else there isbeyond great but Hewill not behaving mesit inhis chair ever again!!

Moved from the west side and needed tofind aregular barber. After reading the reviews and the word ofmouth onthe street about Mike’s, Idecided togive them atry. Voren was mybarber and let mejust say that Iwill beback. Old school barbershop atmosphere with new school, high quality service.
